Green Architecture and Learning Landscape

The white building and the pristine white interiors are natural heat reflective surfaces. The building stands surrounded by green open spaces. The sun shield protected atrium and large french windows in the classrooms overlook the green spaces. These help reduce carbon foot prints.

Amphitheatre

The building has high ceilings and has an eco friendly, well lit, spacious atrium which is very effectively used for exhibitions, displays and for student’s performances.

Classrooms

The heart of learning at the ardee schools thrives in its orderly and beautiful classroom environments which are spacious and large. They are naturally lit, air conditioned rooms with scientifically designed, age appropriate furniture. Each classroom is aesthetically designed with the right visual appeal for the child. Equipped with hands on Montessori learning material for languages, science, history, geography and art, they form an ideal learning space for every child.

Montessori Lab

The Montessori lab provides didactic apparatus which students can explore to receive hands on experience in all areas of academic learning. These materials are of international standards and are used for every area of the child’s learning. The well trained facilitators guides the students to the materials based on their need. They are free to work with the material at their own pace. Each material in the lab is suitable to teach something, whether it is geometry, language, geography, fine/ gross motor skills . math , or cultural studies. The children learn about themselves and the world around them through these materials and the group lessons.

Play area

A well equipped indoor & outdoor play area with equipments which not only allows children to have fun but also allows for exploration and enquiry.

Music and Maestros

Children are trained in Indian and Western vocal and instrumental music by well qualified professionals.

Ardee Health Room

The school has a well equipped health room with a qualified nurse on duty at all times. In addition to this all teachers are trained in first aid as a part of their Montessori training. Minor illnesses and injuries which arise during school hours are immediately handled at the health room.

Art Studio

The Art room is a creative hub and provides space for a wide range of activities including drawing, painting, printing and design.

Swimming Pool

A splash pool for young children which encourages basic swimming techniques and essential social skills. Children are these skills through a trained instructor. The Pool is manned by a life guard at all times.

Sandpit

Outdoor play is a natural and fun way to keep busy and it helps in all aspects of a child’s growth and education. Sand is such a great sensory material for children as they explore their sense of touch and play and discover the wonderful texture of sand that encourages imaginative play. Through grasping, moving, holding and lifting, and many other movements, children develop hand-eye coordination at an early and vital age.

Pottery

Creativity plays an important part in Childrens holistic development. The pottery classes at Ardee support the emergence of creativity in young children , stimulate their curiosity and foster appropriate opportunities for self-expression. Pottery gives toddlers a sense of accomplishment and labour . They learn to create something from scratch and see the fruits of their labour. This builds self-confidence and teaches them that they can do things independently.
