Ms. Kripa Desai completed her schooling from Lady Vissanji Academy, Mumbai  and completed her Bachelor of Education from Mumbai University. She has a Masters Degree in English Literature from Goa University. She has settled in Goa for the past 22 years. Ms Desai has over 15 years of experience in the field of education and administration. Ms. Desai worked at The Learner’s Academy, Mumbai as an educator. After moving to Goa, she joined the Sharada Mandir School, as a teacher for four consecutive years ( 2002- 2006).

It was the Early Montessori Education that she received as a child at Gandhi Shikshan Bhavan, Juhu (1980)  which magnetized her to join The Ardee School  which was  the first and the only school to offer Montessori curriculum in Goa.

Educational Responsibility -

Ms. Desai has been with the ardee school since its inception (2009) and has an experience of 6 years as an administrator.

As an educator she strongly believes that the early years in a child’s life is when children lay the foundation for skills like being independent and confident. Every child has a unique personality and possesses unique talent which need to be identified at the right time by the teacher. She regularly organizes workshops for her teachers to apprise them with topics like “Child Psychology” and “Child centred education”.

At Ardee, her cornerstone is to provide safe and conducive educational environment to the children. She thrives to give her personal attention to the students and patiently responses to the inquisitive  minds.

Ms. Desai has attended various workshops and seminars conducted on Educational concepts and thesis.

Social Responsibility –

Ms. Desai is credulous and sensitive towards children who are not privileged enough to have minimum of education required to live a decent life. She has volunteered to work for various social organisations like HelpAge India.
