Dr. Nitin Verma is currently working as Associate Director of Pediatrics at Madhukar Rainbow Children’s Hospital, Malviya Nagar; and runs a busy Private Practice in New Friends Colony. His work is dedicated to the care of children over a wide spectrum: Ambulatory Pediatric Care: Well baby Clinics, Immunizations, Growth & Development, School health & community health issues, Child behavior; Inpatient Care: Consultation and on call cover for emergencies, Management, discharge, follow up of all types of cases, conducting procedures; Quality Improvement activities in the dept. of Pediatrics; Seminars, case presentations, ward rounds, teaching and supervision of nursing, trainees, and resident doctors; Diplomate of National Board teacher & guide for post graduate students of pediatrics; Academics: Participates in numerous CME’s as speaker and chairperson both at local and national level.

He has a special interest in general pediatrics, growth and development, pediatric nutrition, respiratory ailments and neonatology. Dr Verma completed his MBBS and MD (Pediatrics) from Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. Dr. Verma won the General B.D. Verma gold medal for excellence in academics while doing his post-graduation. He has over 25 years of experience which includes working as a specialist in Pediatrics with the Indian Army at several hospitals including Command Hospital, Northern Command and Base Hospital in Delhi. After serving with the Army as a Pediatrician he joined the civil stream in 1998. He has been associated with prominent hospitals like Apollo Hospital and Batra Hospital as a visiting consultant. He was associated with Max Healthcare since 2001 and was a dedicated core member of the Pediatric team since its inception. Dr. Verma has authored numerous articles, is invited faculty to several clinical, public and community education forums and takes a keen interest in professional developmental activities. He is a keen sportsperson and had represented Army Northern Command in national tennis in the past. He is a strong advocate for improving air quality in NCR.
