Intercultural Day Preparations

The students across our Delhi and Goa campus are working tirelessly to prepare different installations for their upcoming event- The Intercultural Day @ Ardee. Students are using different tools and technologies such as woodworking, laser cutting, automation with microcontrollers and many more to create beautiful installations from various countries and cultures around the world.

F1 in Schools Regional Finals

F1 in Schools, or the Formula 1 STEM Challenge, is a global STEM competition for students aged 11–19. The program introduces students to STEM subjects through the design and construction of a miniature F1 car. Teams of 3–6 students use CAD/CAM design tools to plan, research, design, analyze, manufacture, and test the car, which is powered by compressed CO2 gas.

An all-girls team from The Ardee School New Delhi participated in the F1 in Schools Season 6 Regional Finals from North India Region and secured their place for the Nationals Qualifier round.

The team also won “Women in Motorsports Award” and was recognized as one of the strongest all-women team across the competition.

Angles, Direction, and Minigolf!!

As our young learners of Year 2 explored the world of Angles and Direction during their Mathematics lessons, they used various tools available in the Makers Lab to understand the real-world application of the same by building a Minigolf Course with ups and downs.

The students salvaged old discarded cardboard tubes, cut them into half and built their minigolf course to understand how things placed at different angles behave differently.

This is one of the cross-curricular activities that we did with the students using the Principles of STEM & STEAM to strengthen their concepts, allowing them to apply the skills and knowledge from their classroom sessions to solve real-world problems

Precious Plastic- Waste to Wonder

As the World celebrated Earth Day in the month of April, our young Ardeeians from Key Stage 3 collected all sorts of waste- old plastic bottles, cardboard, discarded wood, which would have ended up in landfills and re-purposed it by upcycling them into something useful.

The students used the Principles of STEM / STEAM and built products like Desk Organisers, Bottle Planters, and Keychains using the waste material which was discarded and would have contributed to almost 30% of the Carbon Footprint.
